Project Manager

We are searching for a Project Manager to the Programs and Products Team in the Satellite Operations department in Tromsø.

As Project Manager you will have the responsibility for planning and execution primarily of the customer projects of the department. These projects are in general related to services, communications, up-/downlink and processing of satellite data.

You will lead a technical interdisciplinary team put together from the different specialized groups in KSAT. You often will have to manage subcontractors and procurements as part of the projects. As Project Manager you will be in close dialogue with the KSAT Sales team and our customers all the way from project initialization to project closeout.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education, Bachelor/Master-level
• Good communications skills, both Norwegian and English, oral and writing
• Experience/knowledge from space-related sector preferred

• Strong will and desire to carry out
• Easily take the leading position and create progress in projects

• Skill for building good relations in teams and with customers

• Capable of managing several projects and activities in parallel
• Ability to turn around quickly and do correct priority in stressful periods
• Good technical and business-economical understanding
