What is Fixed Infrastructure

Our services TV and Broadband are primarily provided over our fixed infrastructure today with several hundred thousand households and apartments connected. Every year we are investing significantly in this infrastructure with the ambition to provide the best user experience in market. This infrastructure is the foundation for the services we provide today and will develop in the future.

Your next big challenge?

You will manage one of Telia’s biggest areas of priority, and we have super ambitious plans that will have great impact going forward. With your great analytical skills, business acumen and strategic mindset, you will have a unique chance to set course of how the journey of fixed infrastructure is going to look like.

As commercial manager you will be responsible for managing all commercial activities ranging from network upgrades to converting customers from one technology to another. This is truly a cross functional role where your decisions will set the guidelines for our sales, build, installation, marketing and technology organizations. You are expected to serve as the spider in the net that drives the “total picture” thinking.  

It is a new position, but we expect the responsibilities to evolve as you gain experience. Until then, be prepared to work independently and be held accountable for the professional responsibility, profit and decision making across the value chain. Don’t worry, you will be surrounded by great colleagues who will support and be there on your side!

You will report to Head of Broadband and be part of the Broadband Services leader group.

In January 2021 we are moving to our new home at Økern Portal – one of the Nordic’s greenest and smartest office buildings!

And to really succeed in this role, you have a collaborative attitude who are able to motivate the people around you in order to achieve smart solutions to secure extraordinary customer experiences. You are seeking out opportunities to work with different people, you monitor the impact of your efforts and actively seek feedback on your actions.

Fact based and data driven decision materials is your thing, and you visualize these in awesome presentations. You are not afraid to bring up your opinions and challenge the status quo. Still, you remain humble and open-minded and strive to understand your surroundings.

Your Experience:

We see you have 5+ years of relevant work experience preferably from management consulting or similar commercial positions. You know what it takes to make impact.

Strong academic background from a top university with a Master’s degree within business administration, industrial economics or engineering is a plus.

English iand Norwegian s our common language; therefore, it is important that you master this fluent both spoken and written.
