Software developer: Summer internship 2021

Then you should apply for a summer internship in Joubel. Joubel is a company started in Tromsø that created the software H5P, which is currently used by hundreds of millions around the world. We are still relatively small, but we are now growing both in terms of customers and employees. H5P is a framework made to let everyone create, share and reuse interactive HTML5 content and is easily integrated in different sites, for example Blackboard. We currently offer over 40 content types (See examples here: https://h5p.org/content-types-and-applications) and are constantly working on improving them and creating new ones. H5P has in a short period of time grown to become one of the most widely used ed-tech solutions in the world, with customers that include Ivy League Universities, leading car manufacturers and publishers. 

In Joubel you will work on an exciting project in a team with other students and have guidance by our employees. You will get the opportunity to fail, improve and most importantly learn. The summer will of course not only consist of work, but also social activities and ice cream in the sun with the other summer students.

When and where

You will work 6-7 weeks starting from mid june to august and you will get some weeks vacation in the middle. We have offices in the city center of both Oslo and Tromsø that you can choose between. 

Who are you:

• In 3rd or 4th year studying computer science, communication technology, informatics or related degree
• A student passionate about programming
• Knowledge and experience with JavaScript, CSS3,HTML5, React is a plus.
• You must be team-player, eager to learn and see feedback as an opportunity to improve
• You must write and speak english well, and be comfortable communicating in english, as english is our business language
