Spare Parts Advisor for MHS

As a Spare Parts Advisor employed by Palfinger Marine you will be included in a hardworking and highly competent aftersales team serving clients worldwide. Your main tasks will mainly consist of handling spare part sales and logistics towards our clients and our worldwide service network. Palfinger Marine is looking for a flexible and service minded person, capable of structuring and planning your own tasks and priorities whilst keeping a clear and positive communication with our valued clients. 

At our office in Bergen, we are looking for a Spare Parts Advisor

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Quotation work towards internal and external customers

·        Proactive sales towards existing and potential new clients

·        Booking of orders

·        Organization of logistics and follow up of delivery

·        Procurement of materials/parts and booking of invoices including etc.

·        Participate in client meetings

·        Participate in handover meetings and kick off meetings

·        Contribute to further development of the Aftersales Department

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor degree or other technical education

·        Experience from similar position or proven good technical understanding can compensate for lack of formal education

·        Technical and commercial experience and interest

·        Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office software

·        Axapta software or similar ERP systems is advantageous

·        Structured, creative and solution oriented

·        Flexible and independent

·        Good communication skills, team player

·        Ability to develop good relationships with customers and suppliers worldwide

·        Proficient English and Norwegian in speech and writing
