Norway Commercial Finance operates several key processes and activities that are essential to ensure accounting, reporting and forecasting of business performance. In addition, Commercial Finance plays a crucial part in acting as business partners to Sales and Marketing teams in providing support and insights from a finance perspective.

Commercial Controller serve as a key player in Commercial Finance to support the business and perform hands-on finance related deliverables within a wide range of responsibilities. It also involves contact with product development, local supply- and customer service as well as Shared Service Centre in Sweden, Factory Finance and the Central Finance team (Nomad).

Findus Norway is currently looking for a new Commercial Controller that is reporting to Head of Commercial Controlling. The tasks and responsibilities for the Commercial Controller will include:

• daily- and weekly sales reporting and analysis
• month-end reporting with emphasis on ensuring correct rebate accruals (Master Data)
• balance sheet reconciliation of these accounts in SAP
• follow up of SOX-controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)
• involvement in monthly sales forecasting and budgeting
• taking part in internal processes regarding price increase and negotiations
• acting as a business partner in innovation processes by calculating product P&L's and providing insights from a financial perspective
• other ad hoc tasks when needed.

To succeed in this role, we suggest you familiarize yourself with some of the following characteristics;

• Education within Business Administration, Finance or relevant fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience from the FMCG-sector is beneficial, but not required
• Proven experience in MS Excel with an analytical mindset
• As a Commercial Controller you should be perceived as a team player, by supporting, influencing and challenging status quo
• Our working language is Norwegian. However, we have international colleagues both in Findus Norway as well as in Nomad Foods, making it important that you are comfortable in both written and oral English and Norwegian.
