Project Manager

Light Structures are seeing increased interest in our products from the navy and coast guard market around the world and are looking to strengthen our team with a project manager with engineering management skills.

Main responsibilities:

Project management of system deliveries to navy, commercial shipping and offshore projects, including

• Communication with the customer and end-user
• Planning, coordination and follow-up of the engineering, documentation and implementation in-house
• Technical sales support and design of technical solutions for complex RFIs and RFQs
• Quality assurance of deliveries
• Risk management in projects

The right person will also support the engineering effort in other projects when they have spare capacity.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to get security clearance
• Technical background (electronics, electrical or structural mechanics) is a benefit
• Management training (e.g. befalsskole, project management, engineering management) or defense background
• Fluent English (spoken and written). Fluent Norwegian is preferred, but not required.
• MS Office
• Understanding of information security
• Contractual understanding
• Basic understanding of ILS is a benefit
• Good collaborative and communication skills
