ABOUT THE JOB:
Nordic Semiconductor´s R&D capacity is expanding. Our System Integration Group (SIG) is looking to strengthen our team with a new senior or a talented newly educated engineer. You will be involved in the development of Nordic Semiconductor´s next generation of world-leading ultra-low power chips. Your focus will be within our team Chip Physical Design.

SIG is an exceptional team of highly specialized engineers from a variety of IC Design backgrounds. We are responsible for all disciplines, from digital design and verification to place & route of Nordic Semiconductor´s portfolio of chip products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position focuses on chip layout implementation. You will be part of the Chip Physical Design team performing Place & Route, Physical Verification and Tapeout Preparations. Responsibilities will include one or more of the following topics with focus on Physical Verification using Calibre suite of tools:

• Place & Route with Timing Closure
• CTS implementation
• Hierarchical Physical Design Flow
• Power grid implementation and IR-drop Analysis
• Layout extraction and Static Timing Analysis
• Physical Verification of IC layout, DRC, LVS, DFM
• Tape-out procedures

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• MSc in Electronics Engineering or similar
• Experience in several areas listed under responsibilities
• Fluent English language (written and oral)
