You’ll be powering Security Engineering!
Your responsibilities will include performing penetration tests, reporting on and communicating findings from penetration tests to relevant stakeholders, and helping develop processes and methods for penetration testing in Nets. You will also be working with improving our software development processes by maintaining and contributing to our secure development framework and working with our network of security champions across our various development teams.

As a Senior Penetration Tester you will also be expected to take lead and responsibility of sub-areas within the penetration testing area, such as larger tests and projects, and to provide mentorship and guidance to junior penetration testers. You will also be expected to acquire an understanding of the business risk of our applications and systems to be able to better explain penetration test findings to our business units.

You will be joining an experienced team consisting of three internal penetration testers, along with a set of consultants, who are responsible for planning and executing security tests across the Nordics, Baltics, Germany, and Croatia.

Group Security is responsible for a wide array of services and functions within the information security field, including security advisory, security architecture, penetration testing, security monitoring, incident response, threat and vulnerability management, compliance and awareness, and secure development. You will report to Head of Group Security Engineering and be given the opportunity to work with innovative technology and industry leading partners and services.

Your key tasks and responsibilities are

  • Participate in penetration test planning, execution and reporting
  • Maintain and further development of Nets penetration testing knowledge, methods, frameworks, tools and techniques
  • Perform penetration tests across Nets’ locations in the Nordics, Baltics, Germany, and Croatia
  • Evaluate and recommend security controls and measures
  • Cooperate with Nets development teams, projects and external service providers
  • Participate in and assist other activities and strategic initiatives within the Group Security department

Your tech skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets.

Your qualifications include:

  • Relevant Bachelor/Master’s degree, or equivalent
  • Having 3+ years of hands-on experience as a penetration tester
  • Familiarity with tools such as Nessus, nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, etc.
  • Relevant, acknowledged security certifications
  • Must be fluent in English and minimum one Nordic language - written and oral
