Scrum Master, IT Architect & front-end developer

Who are we?  

Telia is on a journey towards becoming the New Generation Telco. In the Digital Channels department, this means continuously working towards more efficient IT solutions, building in-house competence, continuing our ongoing DevOps journey as well as challenging our way-of-working.  

We are Roberto and Trude, and we are proudly heading the Consumer and Enterprise Digital Channels teams for Telia brand. We are responsible for the customer-facing portals, apps and websites that our customers use for self-service every day. 

The demand for efficient, safe and user-friendly solutions is ever increasing, and we are looking for talented front-end developers, IT architects and scrum masters with the right attitude to join our teams and contribute to building our culture on the exciting journey ahead of us.

We are looking for front-end developers, IT architects and Scrum Masters:

As a front-end developer you will: 

Work with 

• Web technologies such as  React,  HTML5/JavaScript/CSS, GitHub, Jenkins, Typescript, and/or 
• Mobile technologies such as Flutter/Dart, GraphQL Firebase    
• Define, build, test, and deliver awesome code 
• Work in a cross-functional team in close collaboration with UX designers, Product Owner and other stakeholders 
• Design, code, document and test web pages and components 
• Review code and mentor colleagues, to help them acquire more technical knowledge 
• Have a DevOps mindset and a passion for continuous improvement 

API Development:  

• JavaScript/TypeScript 
• AWS

As an IT Architect you will: 

• Participate in the planning, definition and high-level design of the iterations. 
• Define subsystems and their interfaces 
• Understand the solution deployment 
• Create high-level solution intent, information models
• Document architecture requirements
• Apply customer centric and design thinking mindset 
• Work with Set-Based Design approach and in a decentralized decision-making environment 
• Make effective decisions and boost continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps ambitions 
• Become a leader in an Agile context that inspire others

For IT Architects, we see you have senior level of experience.  

As a Scrum Master you will: 

• Exhibit the behaviors of a Lean-Agile leader with a Lean-Agile mindset 
• Facilitate the team's progression and create the metrics that matters 
• Inspire the teams to have relentless improvements and eliminate impediments for them 
• Support teams estimating and planning, as well cadence and deployment and development cycles 
• Coordinate across teams with Scum Master peers 
• Help the teams collaborate internally as well as towards other teams 

To perform well as a Scum Master, we believe that you have: 

• Good understanding of business, processes and how you relate to people 
• Experience from IT development  
• Passion for and both theoretical and practical experience with flexible work and principles such as Kanban, Scrum and DevOps 
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality software, preferably in a top technology firm 

For all positions, we think it’s an advantage, but not a requirement, that:  

• You have an understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)  
• You understand the advantages of high-performance teams    

English is our common language; therefore, it is important that your English is fluent both spoken and written. Do you speak Scandinavian as well? Great!
