Maintenance Manager

About the position:

The main objectives of this position are to manage the maintenance department efficient and with processes that ensure minimal downtime in the production. We are looking for a maintenance manager with technology expertise within the business unit who can coordinate process activities at Plant Hvittingfoss to ensure efficient use of resources and be a driving force to cross functional approach to improve processes.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute and take responsibility when needed in deviation handling
• Contribute in quality audits internally, by costumers or certification bodies
• Build and manage investments, tooling and manufacturing maintenance budgets
• Track machines and equipment workload according to customer demands
• Coordinate the procurement of new equipment to assure HSE requirements are met
• Contribute, in liaison with the R&D Department, to define technical specifications for alterations on existing equipment and facilities
• Coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipment
• Identify and develop standards for equipment repair, set up and operation
• Facilitate equipment moves
• Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, water consumption, waste and similar activities.
• Monitor the purchase and inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime
• Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance
• Be responsible for the computer aided maintenance management system
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians

Requirements:

• Microsoft Office Skills
• Analytical approach
• Communication Skills
• Min 6 years’ experience of working within the Automotive Industry either with an OEM or 1st and 2nd tier supplier
• Excellent English and Scandinavian language skills
• Master / bachelor’s degree in engineering / Electronic or equivalent.
