DevOps Engineer

Right now, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with .NET experience.

I am Trine Østgård and I am leading Activation Other in IT in Telia Company. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of my team. We have a lot of exciting challenges ahead and Telia is on a transformation journey with new technologies and new ways-of-working.

This position is in Telia Company CPS division. Common Products and Services (CPS) is responsible for global products, networks, technologies and IT enabling our business units across the Nordics and Baltics.

The Activation area is a critical part of everything we develop for our customers. In Activation we activate services, and the team is an important part of enabling new products to our customers.

Our team’s responsibility is to provision new and existing products and services, and gathering information and integrate from our core network to utilize in other IT components – in other words a link between the network and IT. We also work closely with the business to develop solutions to support new features.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments

• Develop, monitor and operate platforms and services

• Ensure that servers, virtual machines and working tools are running stable

• Analyze systems/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes

• Collaborate with other teams and solve complex issues

Of course, it is a big plus if you have OSS experience, but it is not a requirement. We want to meet you who truly believe that you can contribute to our team.

You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or an intriguing good reason for not having one.

You have experience with one or more of the following areas:

• .NET / .Net Core

• Data modelling / structure

• SQL databases

• API / Soap / Rest / TMF OpenAPI or similar

• Telco / Network

• GraphQL

• Windows Server

• Linux

• LDAP

• Splunk or similar

English is our common language; therefore, it is important that your English is fluent both spoken and written. Do you speak Norwegian as well? Great!
