Product Developer

Dimensions Agri Technologies AS (DAT), is a Norwegian precision farming technology company focused on advanced sensors for agri sprayers. The DAT sensors enables the farmer to spray only where needed, reducing herbicide use and environmental impact, costs and at the same time increase yields.

Through close cooperation with Sintef, Nibio and Adigo, and with financial contribution from Innovation Norway and the Norwegian Research Council, the DAT sensors are now in commercial use.

Positioning the company for future growth, we are currently looking for a skilled employee who is eager to make a difference. You will be working closely with the team, including Adigo’s organization at Langhus.

Tasks and responsibilities

As a key member of DAT you will work on the SW and electronics part of the system, and interaction with customers and partners. The tasks may include some or all of the items below:

• SW development within machine learning/vision, and real time SW.
• Participate in field trials at different locations in Norway and abroad.
• Mounting and usage of the system and interaction with farmers and partners.
• Integration of the system to different sprayers and tractors.
• Work with the agricultural industry to integrate DAT EcoPatch and future products.
• Integration and development of the “IoT and cloud service” part of the system.

Desired qualifications

• M.Sc within Cybernetics/Robotics/Informatics or similar.
• Advanced in c/c++ and basic skills in python
• A working knowledge of standard software engineering practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, version control (Git), build processes, and testing
• Digital and analog electric circuits along with practical experience with electromechanical work
• Interest in agriculture technology, creative and efficient
• Team mentality and good at building relations
• Experience with Linux
