Katapult Ocean is looking for a high-energy, resourceful, and experienced commercial manager with passion for the ocean, impact investments and innovation. 

Katapult Ocean is a leading impact tech accelerator globally investing in profitable ocean tech companies that have a positive impact on the ocean.. We support early stage companies from all over the world through a three-month accelerator program. We have a pipeline of more than 1,500 ocean tech startups, and our portfolio companies are within the domains: clean energy, sustainable harvesting, transportation and maritime, ocean health and frontier tech. Our broad network consists of more than 100 mentors globally, international partners and investors. Our fund investors are Norwegian pension funds, family offices, corporate ventures, wealth managers and other professional impact investors.

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for marketing and communication activities, but also highly involved in the accelerator program, and the investment process. Activities you can expect:

• Marketing and communication activities
• Event and project management
• Investment and Due diligence work with start-ups
• Execution of the accelerator program and supporting the ocean startups in our portfolio
• Identify and leverage portfolio synergies
• Work with partnerships and corporates

We look for candidates that are confident that sustainability provides a competitive advantage and have a great interest in the ocean and innovation. The ideal candidate can “helicopter up and down” having the ability to be highly strategic in planning and developing market and event activities, as well as being very hands-on for successful execution. You thrive while collaborating with our investment team, enjoying a high degree of interaction with our mentors, partners, startups, and the community. We expect a commercial mindset and strong communication skills in Norwegian and English. You are passionate about making things happen and can identify yourself with Katapult Ocean’s mission. You have a higher education, 3-5 years of relevant work experience from marketing, management consulting, investments, business development or similar.
