EpiGuard is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us achieve sales results in Norway and internationally. You will represent EpiGuard by seeking, developing, and delivering sales opportunities and expand to new markets. This is a field-based role where we expect high activity with many meetings and demonstrations of our first product, the EpiShuttle: a transport isolation unit.
The EpiShuttle is a new and unique product, which significantly improves processes for patient transport. The sales will initially require introduction and demonstration of the EpiShuttle to potential customers, rather than responding to pre-written tenders. As our Sales Manager, you will find new business opportunities, manage key customers, and will be expected to engage with key stakeholders in CBRN centers, private and public hospitals, ambulance services, emergency services, military medicine, international organizations, air ambulances, and airport preparedness. The EpiShuttle is an important tool in the response against the Covid-19 Pandemic, both nationally and internationally.
You will receive full support and training from the EpiGuard sales, medical and technical team based in Norway.
You will be required to deliver growth from new opportunities. You will be responsible for communicating with customers on a variety of topics including the safe and effective use of the EpiShuttle. Your key focus will be to hunt down new business opportunities.
We are looking for someone who sees this as a big opportunity, are unafraid to contact people, and are driven by achieving results and closing sales.
Key activities
- Selling /demonstrating medical equipment for relevant customers
- Support safe and effective product use (where necessary)
- Customer service/acquisition of new customers
- There will be occasions when you need to support or cover for colleagues in other areas, or attend EpiGuard meetings at locations outside of your territory, you will need to be flexible to support the occasional requirements. This could occasionally include working at weekends.
- Whilst this role is based in Norway initially, it will expand to other geographical areas in the future.
Planning, executing, and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee to achieve budget, including:
- Organizing and conducting training sessions for the safe transport of contagious patients for ambulance service and other relevant customers, and participation in CBRN preparedness workshops and drills.
- Finding and submitting tenders and quotations when required
- Regular reporting to Vice President Sales and Marketing, on the evolution of the sales, and adaptation to the circumstances of the market.
Education
Preferably relevant qualification or training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences, economics or similar
Experience Desired
- Successful sales experience with medical devices is a must
- Experience customer acquisition shows the ability to seek new business
- Relationship building skills has to be a natural relationship builder
- Knowledge of a CRM system
- Must speak fluent Norwegian.
- Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage

The company holds top-level expertise with product development and manufacturing. The medical background ranges from intensive care, infectious diseases, internal medicine, and anesthesiology, to transport medicine.
Our first product is the Epishuttle, which was developed by clinical experts with first-hand experience in providing advanced treatment and transportation of patients with highly infectious diseases, including Ebola. We aim to continue to develop and manufacture high-end medical equipment for the safe transport of contagious patients.
