Fast growing SaaS company looking for a superb senior back-end developer

Position

We are in a rapidly expanding phase, and we are now looking for a passionate, proactive and detail-oriented back-end developer to join us at our office in central Oslo, Norway. You have extensive experience in .NET, you are excited about the idea of working with real-time streaming data in the cloud, and having it distributed to hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. You are also passionate about using powerful data techniques to control massive amounts of data effectively, using as few resources as possible. Additionally, you will be working with Azure, and you’re open to exploring new technologies and adapting our products to align with performant and cost-effective solutions.

Experience with TypeScript and writing front-end libraries for effectively communicating with the back-end is a great plus, easing the friction between the front-end team and the complex back-end systems.

What and who you’ll be working with

• You will report directly to our Head of Development
• Our front-end team and project managers
• Proactively contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Be able to work independently on specific projects
• Developing a thorough understanding of our technology
• Analyzing existing solutions, templates, and interfaces and identify areas of improvement

Your qualifications

• Mastery of C# and .NET
• You write clean and testable code
• IEnumerable is your friend
• You smile when you see async await
• Experience with Azure or other cloud providers
• You have an analytical and statistical way of thinking
• Familiarity with real-time distribution systems such as SignalR or Socket.IO is a plus (we’re using our own WebSocket tech)
• Familiarity with financial data, such as OHLCs and technical analysis, is also a plus
