Laboratorieansvarlig søkes til nyopprettet stilling

Norwegian Plastic Recycling AS(NOPREC) er landsledende gjenvinner av plast fra havet. Vi omdanner innsamlet plast fra havnæringer til høyverdig, resirkulert og sporbart granulat til grønnere plastproduksjon i inn- og utland. NOPREC etablerer nå eget laboratorium ved vårt anlegg i Nærøysund, for å videreutvikle nøkkelkunnskap for morgendagens sirkulærøkonomi.

Arbeidsoppgaver:

• Oppbygging og daglig drift av laboratoriet på resirkuleringsanlegget
• Utvikling og drift av produktkvalitet
• Kjemiske og mekaniske analyser av plastfraksjoner
• Deltakelse i FoU-prosjekter
• Samarbeid med fagmiljø og kundekontakt

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner:

•  Minimum 5-årig utdanning innen kjemi/materialteknologi eller polymerteknologi (praktisk erfaring kan veie opp for formelle kvalifikasjonskrav)
• Gjerne relevant erfaring fra laboratoriearbeid med produktutvikling eller resirkulering av polymerer
• Behersker norsk og engelsk, både skriftlig og muntlig

Norwegian Plastic Recycling AS (NOPREC) is a leading recycler of plastics from the ocean. We convert collected plastics from ocean industries to high-grade, recycled and trackable granulates to greener plastic production both in Norway and in foreign countries. NOPREC is now establishing its own laboratory at our facilities in Nærøysund, we are doing this to further develop key knowledge for tomorrows circular economy.

Work assignments : 

• The general development and daily operation of the laboratory located on the recycling plant.
• Development and operation of quality control on our products. 
• Chemical and mechanical analysis of plastic fractions.
• Participation in FoU-projects
• Working alongside the academic community and costumer contacts.

Wanted/Preferred  qualifications: 

• A minimum of 5 years education within the field of chemistry/material technology or polymer-chemistry.  (Practical experience kan make up for missing educational demands.)
• We prefer it if you have relevant work experience within a laboratory, with product development or recycling of polymers .
• You are fluent in both Norwegian and English, speech and writing.

• You are a solution oriented person, with an analytical and logical approach.
• You like working in teams, but also thrive as a structured and independent worker.
• You are great at building relations with other people, have good communication skills and know how to convey what you are saying to both people within and outside the academic community.
