Instructional designer - e-learning

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. We are looking for a Norwegian speaking Instructional Designer - e-learning.

Job responsibilities:

We are looking for a Instructional Designer who develops training content for use for internal trainings as well as towards external clients of Siemens.

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for many key elements with the main focus on developing eLearning courses and working with an LMS.

The underlying documentation for the training material will mainly be written in English (and translated to Norwegian), the training material itself will be produced in Norwegian language.

Are you the person who can take boring manuals and transform them into engaging training material?

To be successful within this role, it will be required that you have experience with the following tools and methodologies:

• Articulate Storyline or any similar Authoring Tool;
• LMS – Learning Management Software;
• End-to-end Instructional Design.
• Training needs analysis and agreeing objectives;
• Graphics, video editing (e.g. Creative Cloud) and video development software

It is essential that you are:

• Capable to understand complex technical issues and present them in a clear and engaging way;
• Curious and interested in learning more about technical subjects like the components that will make the Norwegian rail more effcient and maintain a high safety;
• Accurate in writing Norwegian language;
• Experienced working closely with subject matter experts and customers;
• Self-going, creative and proactive.

The following tasks and responsibilities are included in the assignment:

• Preparation of e-learning courses in close interaction with the customer;
• Preparation of additional training material (e.g. presentations, tests, certificates);
• Contribute to develop material and standards with the Siemens headquarter training centre;
• Adherence to the requirements of quality management (QM), configuration management (CM) and documentation management (DM) within the “Training” field;

Qualifications and experience:

• More than three years of experience with e-learning content creation (references will be required).
• Good knowledge of state-of-the-art training methods, both for classroom training and web based training/e-learning.
• Language: English (required), Norwegian (required), German (preferred).
