As an Electromechanical Technician you will take ownership of multiple projects from start to finish, where you will interact with our sales, engineering and supply chain departments. The work includes assembling of electronics and mechanical parts, testing, calibrating, preparing documentation and operating tools.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and work with a dedicated operations team. We are looking for a candidate that has worked with the electronic aspects of drilling and completion tool and is focused on safety and a high degree of quality in everything that is done.

Job Summary:

Onshore position. Build, assemble, calibrate and test downhole well completion and intervention equipment in the electronics lab and in the workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to company’s and customers QHSE standards at all times
• Build, assemble, calibrate and test electronics for downhole well completion and intervention equipment
• Mount electronics on mechanical parts
• Inspect and maintain well completion and intervention equipment
• Training of others
• Prepare and complete required documentation
• Perform general workshop tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good Electronics skills
• Good Mechanical skills
• Good knowledge of downhole well completion and intervention applications
• Trade certificate, preferable Electronics related
• Hand Solder certificate
• ESD knowledge
• Lithium batteries experience
• Working knowledge and experience within Lower and Upper Completion
• Technical writing and oral skills in Norwegian and English
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates
• Proactive and eager to learn and evolve
• Good organizational skills and able to handle a complex and hectic workday
• Good communication and teamwork skills but also able to work independently
