Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will work closely with our Supply Chain business unit together with the controlling and analytics team. The right candidate has a commercial, yet operative mindset and an ability to create results together with the organization. You are curious, proactive and have high interpersonal and relationship-building skills. You will work closely with the EVP Supply Chain and be an important strategic advisor and thought partner to drive value creation for the business unit. The role is a part of the finance function and reports to the VP Corporate Controlling & Analytics.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for controlling within ??Supply Chain
  • Analyze cost structure and cost drivers, and initiate improvement initiatives for the business unit
  • Develop good and relevant ad hoc analyzes for financial management purposes, lifting outcomes from a detailed level to an executive summary level
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process within the business unit
  • Identify, implement and operate relevant KPIs
  • Be a key contributor to strategic discussions with EVP
  • Develop and present relevant business cases
  • Manage and support initiatives and larger projects
  • Participate in the Supply Chain management team

 

Qualifications:

  • Business education at master's level with very solid results
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably from a similar role, management consulting or a combination of these
  • Experience from a manufacturing company is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Solid system expertise, especially an experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, orally and in writing
