Data Engineer

To accomplish this, we need to strengthen our team with two Data Engineers in the division Fixed & TV. 

CLM & Sales Performance Management is a newly created department by merging CLM department and Performance Management team in Fixed & TV. The department?s responsibility is to ensure that Telenor has meaningful dialogue with its customers. We develop, maintain and grow the value of our customer base by designing, implementing and evaluating customer lifecycle programs and activities. In this role, you will work closely with campaign manager, data scientists, CLM managers and other internal stakeholders.

About the role

As a Data Engineer, you will work with the data and information generated through internal systems, market research, competition and other external sources. You will get the responsibility for;

• Building robust data foundation (i.e., data marts) for personalized sales and marketing activities
• Supporting the organization with data extractions for sales & marketing activities and reporting
• Be responsible for feature engineering for analytical modeling
• Ensuring that Telenor handles customer data in accordance with internal policies and external rules and regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• Following up IT and vendors to ensure that sales and marketing systems are up and running
• Operationalizing Telenor's anonymization framework to secure compliance with GPPR.
• Operating Telenor's data management tools (SAS DI Studio, SAS Viya, Kafka etc.) and own various data marts and Telenor's big data platform.

We believe you have

• 3+ years of experience within data management, data integration and data warehousing
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAS DI Studio, SAS Viya, Hadoop or Kafka
• 3+ years of experience with building data models, data marts, data warehousing solutions and engineering features for predictive modeling
• Experience with Big Data technologies
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., DS2, PERL, Python, SQL, XML, Java, C / C ++)
• Fluency in English
