Are you our new Change Manager in our Network Operations Department?

As Change Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating the inflow of change requests coming from internal stakeholders like Sales, Engineering, other interfacing teams and external stakeholders. You own and manage the change process, the current change backlog and ensure the right prioritization is agreed upon with the relevant parties. In addition, you will participate in the day-to-day handling of change requests when workload demands it.

You will focus on the process around handling of changes related to client solutions, which means that you will interface with many stakeholders – internal as well as external. You understand the value of documentation and data and you value strong processes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Apply a structured methodology and lead the change management process.
• Lead the Change Board (CAB).
• Ensure a prioritized backlog.
• Manage the release planning and the interface to Operations teams.
• Engage with external vendors in relation to planning and management of changes.
• Optimize the planning process to ensure a faster release cycle.
• Work closely with other internal teams, such as project management, test management and engineering to meet the overall objectives of the project delivery.
• Inform senior management of to release risk and effectively mitigate it.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience as Change Manager or similar position – preferably from a large size IT and Telco setup.
• Experience with both waterfall as well as agile project lifecycles.
• Strong Change Management experience with various tools and practices.
• Strong collaborations skills and the ability to level with demanding stakeholders.
• ITIL certified.
• Strong written and oral communication skills both in Norwegian and English.
• Organized and with an eye for detail.
• Excellent planning skills and the ability to engage in multiple tracks simultaneously .prioritize execution and deliver to tight deadlines.
