Business Development Manager(s), Senior and Junior level

About the role
Brenntag is a global market leader in full-line chemical distribution linking chemical manufacturers and chemical users.
Brenntag's business unit, Brenntag Food & Nutrition partners with the best manufacturers of ingredients and additives and delivers the highest-quality products. As a Business Development Manager, you will contribute to the growth of the food & nutrition in Norway by finding the best solutions to your customers, helping to develop the market within the industry, and taking part in product development.

Area of responsibility
- Managing accounts in Norway
- Serving both existing and potential customers with the best possible solutions
- Reporting and maintaining account information in CRM
- Part-taking in product development
- Co-operation with the marketing department
- Representation in trade shows
Profile
- Educational background on a Bachelor/Master level (preferably Food Science)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Senior position and 3 years in Junior position
- Experience in B2B-sales (in foods or food ingredient industry)
- Experience working in foods or food ingredient industry
- Passion for food and nutrition
- Professional English work proficiency, both written and verbal
- Strong customer focus with excellent negotiation skills
- SAP knowledge
- The role requires travelling, approximately 40 days per year
- Location: Sarpsborg office or home office
The successful candidate is a self-reliant and pro-active person, with a social possessing and great communication skills.
