Quantafuel - seeking competent people to help us save the world! We are strengthening our technical department and are searching for people who can take responsibility and contribute to reach our project goals. The Lead civil engineer will become part of a creative competence environment in the company. The main purpose with the position is to participate in developing new projects, follow up and control contractors during project execution, and to support our sites in modification and maintenance of existing buildings.

Responsibilities and tasks

Develop basis of design for Civil in new projects
Participate in developing Scope of Work for contractors
Monitor the performance and deliverable of contractor's civil engineering and design activities according to contract
Contribute to multidiscipline co-ordination between engineering discipline, and report discipline progress
Ensure that contractor's civil discipline is properly manned to execute the agreed scope of work
Ensure that the activities on the discipline are within the agreed scope of work. Monitor and follow up variation orders for the discipline
Ensure that contractor's electrical discipline is known with, and follow laws, regulations and technical requirements
Advice the sites relate to operation and maintenance of building and civil structures
Execute and participate in minor modifications on existing sites

Qualifications

Master of Science degree
Minimum 5 years of experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as discipline lead
Experience with civil and architectural design
Experience from EPC projects
