We are now looking for engineers to help us build the future of Marine technology. You have a Bachelor- or Master degree in Electrical Power Engineering, either fresh from school or with some years of experience. Your attitude is as important for us as your grades. You also have the ability to combine practical and theoretical knowledge. Depending on your expertise and preference, a project engineer position may be offered in Team Drives or Team Power. Both roles involve engineering of the electrical system on marine newbuild vessels with hybrid or fully electric design. Team Drives focuses on engineering of equipment and systems related to propulsion. A project engineer in Team Power mainly works on the integration and design of the power generation and distribution equipment. Project engineers in ABB Marine are responsible for the technical leadership and engineering within their own scope for each project. This means that there will be requirements for the candidates’ ability to maintain and handle ownership to technical challenges, including the ability to consult with colleagues.
