This is an exciting role as ICT Operations Specialist who will be responsible for operations of the ICT infrastructure, standard systems and follow-up of main ICT service providers. The role of the ICT Operations Specialist will be located in the beautiful city of Ålesund, Norway and you will report to the ICT Director. As ICT Operations Specialist you will be part of the Global ICT team, located in Ålesund, Norway and Sindelfingen, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly operations meetings with main providers
- Plan and coordinate changes to infrastructure and improvements
- Ensure surveillance systems for critical systems
- Ensure operational documentation and routines
- Process of hardware and software distribution to users, including client security
- Project management related to ICT operations improvements and infrastructure
- changes
- User support process and helpdesk services globally
- Ensure correct and updated documentation to user support team
- Define and follow-up on KPI measures including KPI reporting
- ICT Operations budget and budget reporting
We are looking for someone who:
- has a degree in computing, computer science, information technology
- has has ability to work independently, structured and is a self-motivator
- has good collaborative skills and communication skills
- has good communication skills (English is obligatory as company language, Norwegian language skills are preferred, but not mandatory)
- has some experience in similar roles
