On the way to achieve our vision Zero loss of lives, no injuries or damages caused by fire and gas, we are now seeking a forceful Factory Manager at our headquarters in Trondheim.

Our factory is the heartbeat of our business, where we manufacture our high-end products and total fire safety solutions for worldwide distribution. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a flawless factory operation, ensuring consistency and an extraordinary performance as a crucial part of the value chain. You will work closely with the Operations Management Team, and lead the people, the priorities and the tasks safely and consistently to reach our short and long term commitments. We are looking for a clear, solid and pragmatic team member, with great knowledge in modern manufacturing methods, keeping people motivated, trained and safe to deliver on a high level. You will rationalize workflows, plan new production and implement new technologies in the best way possible.

Duties and responsibilities

Production and process management
Familiar and able to work within LEAN manufacturing principles
Managing KPIs weekly, ensuring delivery and efficiency
Proactively identify and present optimal solutions and ideas to continuously develop the factory
Work as part of a team whilst independently delivering on day-to-day targets
Strength-based leadership and development of team leads and people in the factory

Qualifications

Master Manufacturing Management / Engineering
Familiar with factory management
Preferably, experience from the automation industry experience, electro mechanics or electronics
Benefit of being a key contributor to ERP / MES development projects
Experience with LEAN or similar processes
Familiar with strength based leadership
