DNB is currently moving towards new ways of working. We are shifting from a project oriented organization towards a higher focus on stable teams, products and value chains. We already have a team of Agile coaches who are working relentlessly towards preparing DNB for tomorrow, while at the same time making DNB a better place to work. Currently our main delivery model is still projects, we have high levels of dependencies between teams (most of which are distributed) and many handovers in our value chains. There's still a long way to go towards an Agile organization, and we need your help to get there!

We have a diverse team of coaches with different skill sets, and we need you to join our team and further expand our capacity and capabilities!

Agile coaches in DNB have different profiles and focus. Some work primarily with teams, coaching team leads, delivery managers, Scrum masters or similar roles. Some focus more on the technical aspects (good engineering practices, devops, focus on quality). Others focus primarily on management and organization level impediments. Currently we’re looking for an Agile coach that can work both with teams and organizational issues. Your days as a coach will be diverse. Coaching 1-1, facilitating workshops and presenting for small and large groups as well as observing and reflecting will all be part of your work. Continuous improvement towards sustainable value creation will be your goal.

Regardless of your area of focus, it is important to take a system thinking approach. In large organizations few problems exist in isolation. You will often find issues that cannot be solved locally and will need to look beyond your current scope when necessary.

We are currently looking for someone with several years of experience, preferably from both Agile and non-Agile environments. You have minimum 5 years of full-time working experience from IT related roles. This experience gives you the necessary background to recognize patterns and anti-patterns during your coaching. A technical background (developer / engineer) is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. You have a natural interest in process and process improvement. Despite your experience, you understand that you still have a lot to learn. You acknowledge that whatever worked for one team, may not work for the next. DNB is large and diverse, and you need to stay pragmatic and curious in your approach to coaching.

Your main focus is not to solve problems and come across as an expert, but rather to listen and to understand the needs of those you interact with.

More important than your education and background, is your inherent interest in Agile ways of working and improving both your own work and the work of others.

Both Norwegian and English are used extensively in this role, and ideally you speak and write both languages fluently.
