General Job Description

PCL is responsible for the overall integration and coordination of the individual alliance and BU Project Control input and deliverables within each project.

PCL collaborates and builds strong relationship with respective disciplines across alliances and BUs to ensure high quality of integrated Project Control deliverables.

Purpose of the position:

• Be single point of contact for Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders with regards to all project control deliverables.

1. Roles and Responsibilities

Organization/Leadership:

• Manage the integrated Project Control team and drive high quality performance within project control disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all Project Control deliveries within the project(s) for all project phases (cost engineering, estimating, planning, benchmarking)

• Establish and maintain efficient project control and management reporting system

• Responsible for the overall integration and coordination of the individual alliance and BU input and deliverables

• Coordinate Project Management of Change process

• Manage and facilitate cost and schedule risk analysis

• Responsible for Contingency Management and change control

• Responsible for Baseline process

• Lead Monthly Project Performance review meetings

• Manage and monitor project cost and schedule performance against budgets and baselines, provide trends and forecasts and recommend corrective actions/baseline updates

• Provide input and ensure quality in deliverables in connection with Aker BP quarterly business cycle, license budgets, communication and reporting to authorities.

• Ensure use of standard project work/cost breakdown structure

• Contribute to the project risk management process by providing identification, mitigation and monitoring of project risks

• Ensure delivery of fully documented Project Control closeout reports and experience data

• Support management (both project and functional) with ad hoc requests

Actively participate in improvement of project control processes and deliverables
