ABOUT THE JOB:

You are an experienced or a newly educated digital IC designer with basic understanding of analog IC design.
You will leverage digital design techniques to augment analog IC designs. As we scale down process technologies, analog IC design becomes more difficult, and at the same time one can do more digital processing for less power, thus it makes sense to move parts of analog signal processing into digital domain.

For complex System on chip (SoC) designs an accurate model of analog functionality together with a well-defined mixed-mode verification flow is essential for high verification coverage when integrating analog IP’s into a SoC. You will work closely both with analog designers and digital design team to improve and take our mixed-mode verification flow to the next level. Good knowledge of digital CAD tools and features is important, along with an interest for learning our analog design flow. As a highly motivated individual you will work both independently and as part of a team. You enjoy new challenges and are excited about the chance to make a difference within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    M.Sc in Electronics Engineering or equivalent

•    Able to focus on details
•    Knowledge of a scripting languages like python or similar
•    Specification and Documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be instrumental in building up our digitally augmented analog discipline. You will improve our mixed-mode verification flow and take analog modelling to a new level. You will work in close collaboration with analog designers for good understanding of analog challenges to create tomorrows state-of-the-art IC circuits.

You will collaborate closely with our digital IC design group and ensure that our digitally augmented analog and mixed-mode flow follow the rules and regulations of high-quality digital design.
Your main assignments will be:
•    Responsible for all Verilog model deliveries from the Wireless Group
•    Responsible for workflow for Verilog model delivers
•    Main contact point for support on Verilog models from other groups
•    Contribute to and integrate changes in the digital process into the Wireless Group
