We are looking for a Work Shop Supervisor to join our team in Stavanger

We are currently looking for a full time, permanent Workshop Supervisor to join the Claxton Norway team at our workshop in Stavanger. This is a Hands-On role, managing a team & reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily workshop operation, delegating and prioritizing
• Lead and develop a small workshop team
• Perform service and maintenance of standard and bespoke equipment
• Preparation, checks out and testing of equipment prior to mobilization
• Service and disassembly of equipment after demobilization
• Testing and setting up full system tests
• Responsible for equipment documentation, logs and maintenance reports
• Stock management, warehouse and logistics responsibilities

Required:

• Experience as Workshop Manager, Workshop Foreman or similar. Preferably with experience in leading a workshop team
• Relevant work experience can compensate for formal education
• Preferable Trade Certificate and/or skilled worker certificate within; mechanics, hydraulics, machining & welding
• Experience from working on diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic & HP water systems
• Familiar with equipment as HP/UHP pumps, HPU’s, reels
• Experience from abrasive cutting & portable abrasive systems
• Forklift and crane/ overhead crane certificate and experience
• Familiar with Norsok Z-015, EX/ ATEX check out procedures
• Good Norwegian and English, both verbal and written
