Onsite IT Infrastructure Analyst
Experis for a short engagement seeks Onsite IT Infrastructure Analyst.Purpose:
The Onsite Support Analyst is responsible for providing second level desk side support for the Norway onshore sites.
Accountability & End Result:
Onsite IT Infrastructure team is responsible for delivering a wide range of IT services and support directly to business customers at several sites. The work scope includes PC, printer, peripherals and applications support.
Assigned roles, responsibilities, procedures and other:
- Manage incidents in ServiceNow; second level support within agreed SLA
- Carry out installation, movement and recovery of PC and related hardware and software
- Undertake project work as required
- Identify and communicate new and upcoming work requests.
- Fulfil all duties of the site on-call rota, including but not restricted to, being available for out-of-hours on call work on a periodic basis.
- If requested, travel to other onshore sites, offshore installations and drilling rigs to perform support and installation duties.
- Demonstrate good discipline for creating and managing documentation in our file systems or knowledge centre database.
- Consultancy; Troubleshooting / third level support; Customer liaison; Problem / resolution management
- High school [videregående] graduate or equivalent (certificate of apprenticeship [fagbrev] or documented competency qualifying for higher education/university studies
- Has experience supporting Microsoft Windows client computing in a corporate Microsoft environment, with hands on support experience of the following being an advantage:
- Office 365 Applications
- MFD printing hardware
- Has understanding and experience of troubleshooting using basic TCP/IP tools
- Be service and customer focused
- Demonstrates the ability to sustain a workload of several tasks simultaneously demonstrating good time management skills
- Be creative in crafting new solutions and enhancing existing solutions to the service that the team delivers.
- Whilst following established processes, work co-operatively with the other members of the group and with other groups as necessary.
- Assist other team members where necessary providing support, advice, expertise, and backup
- Be fully respectful of, and adhere to the company safety and ethics policies.

- In depth knowledge PC technology and support
- Strong general IT infrastructure knowledge and hands on ability
