Senior Piping / Designer Engineer

Our customer, an international maritime company, are seeking  SENIOR PIPING / DESIGN ENGINEER with location Stavanger. 

Deadline: July, 12th 2020

Job Description

• Study and project execution within drilling facilities at fixed platforms
• Technical input to tender
• Weight- and cost estimate
• 3D-modeling on existing and new constructions (PDMS)
• Piping stress analysis - TRIFLEX
• Perform surveys, onshore and offshore
• Supplier and Work shop following up, including FAT
• Work descriptions and evaluate installation methods
• Package management
• Installation, mechanical completion and commissioning support

Formal qualifications:

• Technical, Bachelor or Master degree within engineering with minimum 5 year’ experience

Competence requirements

• PDMS / 3D-modeling, and related systems/modules
• TR2000
• PED (Pressure Equipment Directive)
• Good experience with Equinor systems
• Isometric pipe drawing production and checking
• Hands-on installation support and management
• Pipe stress analysis
• Pipe support
• Drilling related experience is an advantage
• Language: English, and Norwegian is an advantage

Duration:

• Start date: as soon as possible / 03.08.2020
• End date:  31.12.2020 with possibilities for extension
