New position in the Head office Commercial Team in Tønsberg

The position is within the Head office Commercial Team with location in Tønsberg.

Daily tasks and responsibilities within the Head office Commercial Team including:

o  Support the commercial department business development and strategic planning

o  Maintenance and development of performance and market intelligence databases

o  Management of tracking systems for shipping and commodity markets

o  Assist with development of systems for integration with internal and external data sources

o  Assist the commercial department in managing and preparing analysis and forecast projections

o  Assist with preparation of internal and external reporting and presentation material

o  Attend industry events and functions, as and when delegated

The position “Commercial Assistant / Business Analyst” will be reporting to our Senior Fleet Manager.

Saga Welco AS is seeking a highly motivated candidate with analytical skills and relevant education to a level of Bachelor degree, preferably within shipping/logistics/maritime law. Relevant working experience is beneficial. Competence in the use of standard statistics management systems and standard communication applications as well as fluency in both written and spoken Norwegian and English language is a requirement for all relevant candidates.
