Planner - Maintenance & Modification

Are you interested in working as a Planner in a multi-disciplinary project team, within sustainable maintenance and modification?

NSG Maritime is strengthening its maintenance and modification department working mainly with Tennets HVDC platform. We focus on developing employees` initiative, increased expertise, and project development. NGS Maritime will provide maintenance and modification during the 3 year frame-contract with TenneT, who is a leading European electricity transmission system operator (TSO).

NSG Maritime AS are hiring a Planner who is responsible for the planning activities within the specific project scope of work. As a Planner you will gather and analyze information to prepare reports on the progress of projects. Your key reponsibilities are working closely with project team members, especially project manager and engineers. That involves a frequent collect information from project team members to review progress of activity as required. You also develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules for maintenance & modification type of work, in order to facilitate accuracy in prosject execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Using MS project software to integrate master project schedule, establish base line, perform status reports, and perform measurement of baseline.
• Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports: Gantt, milestone charts, and other tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances, and to support cost/schedule integration.
• Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
   

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in engineering / construction. Long and relevant practical experience can compensate for this requirement
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience from equivalent function within project environment, preferably from platform Maintenance & Modification type of work, using MS Project or other similar planning software tools
• Minimum of 3-5 years of platform maintenance and modification project management experience
• Subject matter expertise using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and the supporting detailed schedules
• Proficient in MS Office

We appreciate a creative planner who has the ability to be innoative with his / her assignments. This role also requires a strong organizational, analytical, writing skills and solid experience in writing functional and technical reports.
