NSG Maritime is strengthening its maintenance and modification department mainly working with Tennets` HVDC platform. We focus on developing employees` initiative, increased expertise, and project development. NGS Maritime will provide maintenance and modification during the 3 year frame-contract with TenneT, who is a leading European electricity transmission system operator (TSO).

NSG Maritime AS are searching for Contract Engineer within maintainenes and modification. The Contract Engineer is responsible for the contract and procurement activity within the company. As Contract Engineer you will be defining and managing project opportunities and risks, while following up on tenders from suppliers (price, contractual & technical aspects, planning, QA/HSE aspects). The role will also be seconded to dedicated project organization's to maintain need for contract and procurement activities within the specific project scope of work. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Preparation of complete tender request packages towards Client / suppliers.
•  Organizing clarification/negotiation meetings with Client / suppliers.
•  Negotiating and finalizing contracts with Client / suppliers together with project team and connect with contractual and technical colleagues.
•  Defining and managing project opportunities and risks including Cost estimation and Cost Control. 
•  Following up on feedback from contracted suppliers, including opportunities/risks, suppliers performance on capacity, quality, total cost, security of supply and planning.

Required qualifications

• Master / Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or equivalent relevant education.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience from equivalent function and minimum 5 years of experience within contract and procurement  management, preferably from platform Maintenance & Modification type of work.
• A skilled negotiator and excellent communicator and in the ability to influence business partners and suppliers.
