Cloud Infrastructure Architect- Caverion Group

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our new Group IT - Technology Architecture team.

You will be based in our office in Vantaa (FI), Stockholm (SE), Kongsvinger (NO) or Lierskogen (NO) and be part of a global Group IT team, supporting our business in all Caverion operating countries in the Nordics and Central Europe.

Role description
Your task is to design cloud and infrastructure platforms that are well working and supporting the needs of our business and customers. You will be acting as a Subject Matter Expert and advisor for cloud and infra-related topics in various IT development projects.
As member of Technology Architecture team, you will be driving architectural development (design, roadmaps etc) within the Technology Architecture area together with other architects.
We are looking for someone with an open and visionary mindset to customer needs and technology, that can easily communicate with technical as well as non-technical people.

Key accountabilities:

• Gather, define and translate business requirements into IT requirements and solutions
• Create and maintain architectural guidelines, patterns and principles within Technology Architecture area (blueprints, technical documentation, roadmaps etc.)
• Make architectural decisions as member of IT Architecture Board
• Act as technology advisor towards IT stakeholders, IT development and operational teams

Preferred background and qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Relevant certifications in the cloud area, preferably Microsoft
• Team player and self-managed individual contributor
• Proven experience in the areas of:
  • Cloud-based infrastructure (both IaaS and PaaS) with focus on Azure
  • Traditional infrastructure platforms (server/network/virtualization)
  • Hybrid cloud architecture technologies and concepts (AD/LDAP, Azure AD, SSO, ADFS, SAML)
• Previous experience from datacenter and public cloud migration projects is an advantage
• Good understanding of network concepts and enterprise network technologies like MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and LAN/WLAN
• Proven project management skills with ability to act as a subproject manager in a larger program as well as leading smaller projects
• Experience in working with stakeholders across multiple geographies, timelines and cultures and willingness to travel internationally
• Good understanding of IT operations and related frameworks like ITIL
• Fluent communication in English in addition to one of Scandinavian or Finnish
