Within Recharge we want to support the transition to an all electric car fleet by offering easy-to-use and reliable public EV charging services at attractive locations. We are now looking for a Head Legal Counsel to join our team on this exciting journey.

Your role
As a Legal Counsel for Recharge you will be responsible for the Legal function across all our geographies and manage the legal services, regulatory affairs and compliance. You will have an important role providing legal expertise in relation to strategic development, and also support the business in commercial and contractual matters on day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities include identifying and addressing legal risk in projects and business development initiatives; and to review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts. You will contribute to knowledge building, and to develop policies, processes and templates to steer and guide the business during its rapid expansion. The eMobility market is evolving quickly and as the Legal Counsel you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating market trends and regulatory changes. You will be based in Norway and work in close collaboration with the CEO and the rest of the Recharge management team. You will be leading and managing external legal counsel when such is engaged.  

Your experience
We are looking for a legal advisor with a Law degree and minimum 3-5 years' experience from contract and commercial law.  Previous experience from working as an in-house lawyer with commercial negotiations and experience from an international business environment is a plus. Experience from the energy industry is a plus and an interest for the eMobility industry is a must. You are structured and solution oriented, have a strong business acumen, and able to lead change by inspiring and enabling colleagues. You have excellent writing and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English.
