Kongsberg Maritime Riser Systems Department

The Kongsberg Maritime Riser Systems business unit located in Asker is recognized as a world leading engineering and consultancy service provider within analysis of SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Riser & Flowlines) systems, power cables and design and commissioning of riser integrity monitoring solutions. We also provide advisory services during marine operations supported by advanced dynamic simulations. Our drilling department supports drilling operations with on-line decision support tools getting integrated with other KONGSBERG bridge systems. As part of KONGSBERG we are also looking at Offshore wind and Offshore fish farming to increase our project portfolio and technology basis.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. degree with specialization in areas like hydrodynamics, marine construction or marine cybernetics

• Some programming knowledge in Python, Matlab or similar

• 2-5 years experience, graduates will also be considered

Responsibilities:

• Project Engineering from planning to realization

• Modelling and simulation of dynamic systems

• Project and Customer coordination

• Development of digital solutions

• Data analytics & processing
