You will obtain a central role within the product management team, monitoring and analysing the product development. You will also be responsible for reporting and planning, as well as ensuring timely deliverables with minimum risk. You will be a part of a strong international professional environment. The position will report to VP Technologies.
Responsibilities:
Manage the project of product development according to given timelines, scope and deliverables
Develop and maintain detailed project plans containing key tasks, milestones and deliveries to ensure progress
Report progress of development to the Leadership team
Handle deviations and propose mitigation action
Keep an overview, secure and plan the use of the resources required to carry out the projects. Be a coordinator between management, sales, the product managers and the customers
Take part in prioritising of projects and defining timelines
Ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the agreed price
Remove obstacles and facilitate for the resources in the project
Expose risk factors before and during the projects
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with project management of larger software development projects with distributed (international) teams
Good knowledge of digital project management tools
Skills in planning, organising and using both your own and other’s time
Good motivational skills, enabling the team to perform
Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English, written and oral.
Masters degree
Experience with Product Development seen as a plus
A good understanding of the maritime business sector is a plus
