Senior Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to organize, perform and supervise day-to-day accounting activities for our two Norwegian legal entities. You will work in our Finance department in Stavanger, contributing to the department’s objectives and ensuring full legal compliance with all aspects of Norwegian and US accounting principles.

Work Tasks:

·        Responsible for all accounting activities for TDW Offshore Services AS & T. D. Williamson Norway AS.

·        Oversee payroll functions for TDW Offshore Services, including the reconciliation of payroll bank account, taxes and employee contribution.

·        Ensure that clients are invoiced accurately, on a timely basis and in accordance to company’s procedures.

·        Oversee the accounts payable and integration function to ensure vendor invoices are properly approved and paid on a timely basis.

·        Prepare statistical reports e.g foreign economy and import/export of goods and services.

·        Work actively to improve processes for accounting, payroll & AR/AP.

Qualifications

·        Accounting / business education at Bachelor level or above.

·        Minimum 5 years relevant experience.

·        Fully conversant with Norwegian accounting rules and knowledge about US accounting principles.

·        Well organized with strong multi-tasking skills.

·        Rigorous, detail orientated and able to adapt.

·        IT literate.

·        Fluent Norwegian and proficient English verbal and written skills.
