Do you want to lead our silicon anode for battery project?

Elkem Silicon Materials is currently looking for a Project Manager to lead the development of Elkems product portfolio for silicon-based anode materials in lithium ion batteries. You will be located in Kristiansand, but other locations may be considered for the right candidate. The work will be in close collaboration with Elkem Carbon battery materials development. You will to a large extent be involved in technical dialogue with customers and personnel at our production facilities. The position requires extensive travelling.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• Lead our project for silicon-based anode products for lithium ion batteries
• Secure fast and agile project work with clear objectives
• Prioritise and follow up R&D activities and product development
• Manage and develop relationships with customers and partners
• Key role is to establish strategic relations with potential customers and partners
• Keep up to date on the development in battery market and IP landscape

Qualifications required for the position:

• 5 - 10 years' project manager experiece and/or experience from the battery or silicon industry
• Minimum Master of Science
• Good understanding of the battery market
• Commercial understanding and interest 
  
• Fluent written and spoken English
