Are you interested in European power markets and would like to be involved when fundamental decisions on market design are made?

We are searching for an enthusiastic and persevering team player. In this position, you will have overall responsibility for the coordination of Nord Pool’s position in the European Intraday Energy Market cooperation.
You will actively take part in several external groups. You will help your colleagues succeed in their work, and you will take responsibility for communicating and keeping both internal and external parties up to speed.
You must understand technical solutions on a high level, and equally be familiar with handling agreements and other legal documents.
You will function on the interface between legal, operations, and technical and provide direction to Nord Pool resources in the external activities within the area of responsibility. Furthermore, you must ensure local contacts, knowledge, and resources are optimally used also in external projects.
You enjoy networking and have good people skills since you support and drive external activities, in coordination with Markets and Regulatory Affairs, with key stakeholders such as National regulators, European Commission, Transmission System Operators, and Market Participants within the European Market Coupling area.
You are a strong negotiator and are ready to defend positions important to Nord Pool, but you are also flexible when needed.
Desired qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor or master’s in Economics, business or Technology.
- Experience in the power markets, including an understanding of physical markets.
- Knowledge of operational business processes and procedures and/or software development processes.
- You cooperate well and ensure timely deliveries.
- Procurement experience.

- Excellent English (both written and oral), one of the Scandinavian languages is a bonus).

Some travel is necessary.
You will be located at one of our offices in Norway, Sweden, or Finland.
