To support our continuous growth, we need to strengthen our Business Insights team with a Head of Marketing Analytics. This role will report to Sector Alarm Group Executive Management Team.

 

Are you passionate about Marketing Analytics and Business Insight?

As part of the Business Insights team you will be in charge of Marketing Analytics, from tracking & data collection to creating a culture of data-driven decisions. In that context, your main role & responsibilities will be:

Marketing data collection and quality across touchpoints:

  • Analyse, measure, and optimize our marketing investments and tactics across multiple channels
  • Create "Best practice" & ensure that consistent tracking is applied across the group
    • Media tracking & UTM taxonomy
    • Website tracking in Google Analytics
    • End-to-end tracking to reconcile traffic and customer information - knowledge of CRM tools, preferable Microsoft Dynamics
  • Develop and improve multi-touch attribution models and frameworks to assign credit for traffic and conversions across a variety of Marketing channels and touchpoints. This includes the development of methodologies to understand the contribution of offline media investments on online activity
  • Be responsible of data quality and insights for decision

Creation of a data-driven culture:

  • Drive excellent practices and technical standards for establishing KPIs (e.g. CPL, CPO, ROMI) and goals for Marketing, developing information suites (Dashboards, reports, visualizations) fit for C-level consumption, and marketing campaign tracking and measurement. This involves knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Analyze incremental effect of marketing efforts, and provide insights and recommendations to key decision-makers
  • Define KPIs for media to track & drive performance (Reach, CPC)
  • Help the marketing channel owners optimize return on their effort and spending through analysis and experiments
  • Leverage our data to scale our ability to optimize marketing through the entire lifecycle of live events and the customer journey
  • Lead customer insights including segmentation to assist marketing performance of acquisition & retention

Tools selection:

  • Select key tools to assist marketing performance and insights e.g. web analytics, session capturing, call tracking, media attribution

Reporting creation:

  • Design & build of reporting with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI

 

What is your background?

  • You have at least 4 years' experience in Marketing Analytics, either corporate or agency
  • Strong analytical experience - extensive hands-on experience in advanced techniques like forecasting, media mix modelling and clustering/segmentation
  • Strong technical skills, extensive hands-on experience of Google Marketing Cloud [incl. Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio etc.]
  • SQL/Python skills as well as experience in the, PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics would be a significant advantage
  • Experience in leading the delivery of deep dive investigations on complex topics, working with multiple data sources and with colleagues across various disciplines
  • Experience in initiating and managing projects from brief to delivery and into Business as Usual operations
  • Exceptional understanding of web, digital and emerging marketing technologies - including the vendor landscape and the global ad-tech ecosystem
  • You are fluent in English, oral and written
