. Qualifications

Description:

An Embassy is seeking to recruit a full-time translator / interpreter. The position of translator / interpreter covers a variety of tasks and duties such as the translation of all correspondence, text or writing, and more generally all documents entrusted within the framework of administrative work. The translator / interpreter can also be required, if needed, to carry out the task of immediate translation.

Main Duties:

·       Translating Relevant news on a daily basis Norwegian to Arabic or English to Arabic

·       Translating documents from Arabic to Norwegian or Vice versa

·       Writing Reports in Arabic, English and Norwegian when required

·       Correspondence in Arabic, English and Norwegian.

Education, knowledge & skills:

. Bachelor degree within language studies with 5 years experience or Masters degree in language studies with 3 years experience

·        Preferably Certified Translator

·       Experience can compensate

·        Excellent command of Arabic, English, and Norwegian

·        Competent in computers

·        Previous experience in administration is preferable but not required

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills

·        Teamwork experience, positive attitude and flexibility

DRIVER for an Embassy

Description:

An Embassy in Norway is seeking drivers.

Duties:

·       Embassy's regular transportation services to official & private engagements.

·       Delivery and collection of correspondence and parcels.

·       Planning routes and ensuring the vehicle is properly equipped.

·      Cars daily status and service follow up

Requirements:

·       Norwegian national or foreign national with permanent residence permit in Norway

·       B Driving License

·       Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in Norway

·       Clean driving record.

·       Knowledge and know-how of routes in and around Oslo

·       Excellent time management, communication, and adherence to protocol.

·       Good communication skills

·       Teamwork experience, positive attitude and flexibility

·       Good command of English and Norwegian language and additional language is plus.

·       Must be able to provide with a health certificate

·       Clean Politiatttest/ Police Certificate
