GSGroup is looking for passionate and experienced senior software developers to strengthen our IoT and telematics team. The ideal candidates are someone who will take a hands-on role in the development of our future products while contributing to building and maintaining our existing core solutions.

Our products are operated by our customers all over Europe on a 24/7 basis and require a high attention to quality and availability. We offer interesting and challenging tasks, in an inspiring and motivated team of colleagues.

Work experience:

·        A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record. Relevant academic credentials are a bonus.

·        Preferred knowledge and experience within one or several of these technologies or areas:

·        API design (data modelling, REST, Resource Oriented Architecture)

·        Microservices

·        Stream processing

·        Web as a platform

·        NodeJS

·        PWA

·        LAMP stack

·        Experience with the development of business-critical solutions and products, where availability, quality and user experience are important factors

·        Background from or experience with architecture and design with “big-data” solutions is favorable.

Tasks and responsibilities

You will be involved in several projects and must be capable of handling parallel activities and tasks. You enjoy coding and want to deliver valuable solutions with a high degree of quality. In addition, we want you to contribute in:

·        Collaboration with other developers in planning, prioritizing and executing tasks

·        Architectural discussions and decisions regarding existing and new features

·        Writing code and make it visible in our products and solutions

·        Creating and review technical specifications

·        Take initiative, be creative and act responsible

·        Good communication skills, written and spoken (Fluent English as a minimum)
