JOYMO is a distributor and broadcaster of sports at all levels, with international ambitions for our technology platform.

The position as Front-/Back-end Developer is a central and an important position in the development team. The position is central in making the JOYMO platform a complete system for live streaming of sports, accessible to sports clubs and organizations at all levels.

We’re looking for a node.js and web front-/back-end developer to build services for our products & tools. We are focused on automated real-time video production, distribution, real-time algorithmic and AI analysis of the video content. We are currently working to expand our platform with more features for viewers, players, teams and coaches.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop new scalable and versatile services and APIs.

Use agile methodologies and workflows to iterate on products.

Work closely with product, design and engineering leadership to solve business problems.

Qualifications:

3+ years of professional software development experience.

Experienced in node.js/TypeScript..

Preferably worked with micro-services, and Docker and familiar with its principles and practices.

Flexible with different frameworks and workflows, with a willingness to learn new technologies.

Comfortable and experienced in Git workflows.

Familiarity with cloud providers, AWS is a plus.

A good understanding of web application scalability/performance issues and experienced in the use of asynchronous processing and other mitigation practices is also a plus.
