Main responsibilities and tasks

• Satellite Systems Engineering
• Payload Architectures and throughput analysis with focus on digital units such as software defined radio, channelizer and beamforming networks
• Contribute to development of business plans for future satellite assets
• Interaction with satellite supplier industry (follow technology roadmaps, develop specifications for satellites, RFI / RFP / procurement supervision)

Competence
Master degree or equivalent related to electrical engineering, radio frequency technology, digital transmission technology or satellite systems engineering.
It is desirable to have competence related to DSP and SDR. Being familiar with software tools such as Matlab, Satsoft and STK is an advantage. Being familiar with VSAT and shared access systems is beneficial.

Experience
The ideal candidate has 5 to 10 years of experience working for a satellite operator, a satellite manufacturer or a space research institute. Less experienced candidates can be considered.
