Financial Controller

Ducky has been developing an innovative climate engagement tool and a cutting-edge climate calculator over the last five years. We are working closely with some of the best sustainability researchers in the world, and have got some of the largest influential companies already on our pay list, like IKEA, Yara, ING, Elkjøp to mention some.

We are now looking for an experienced financial controller, to undertake aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures to join us full-time at Ducky.

Is this you?

• Self driven with a proven working experience as a financial controller,
• Team player – that enjoys working with and learning from others with a different skill set than you,
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in Norway,
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills,
• Experienced in Tripletex or similar, excel and creating financial statements,
• Excellent administration skills ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting,
• A demonstrated ability to guide people in finance and wants to work from the HQ in Trondheim,
• Open and creative to find solutions suitable for an organization where all are leaders with different needs,  
• Thinks sustainability is the only way to go!

Your responsibility and tasks as a Financial Controller at Ducky:

• Manage accounting operations including billing, support month-end and year-end close accounting process, liquidity management and budgeting, 
• Financial reporting to, investors, research projects, annual reports and project budgeting, 
• Create and maintain investor relations and funding opportunities,
• Deliver financial information and processes that will drive improved decision-making as a support for the sales team,
• Understand the corporate vision and drive actions aligned with vision,
• Support for business and partnership contracts, 
• Pension/salary and employment conditions with relevance to finances,
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal procedures,
• Develop systems for internationalization. We're about to enter 3 markets and need to comply with local requirements,
• Share the responsibility with your colleagues to make sure that Ducky is developed and ran in a sustainable way on a day-to-day basis,
