Software Quality Assurance Advisor (SQA) (KM 20-021)

Integrated Solutions division within Kongsberg Maritime isresponsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg's Automation, Bridge Systems and Electro products and solutions. The division is also responsible for developing and delivering large projects by integrating solutions for Kongsberg to the maritime segments across our entire product range.

QHSE Management provides tools, methods and competence, supporting the business in our joint effort in compliance, prevention, improvement and reaching our common and ambitious goals. We are now looking for a Software Quality Assurance Advisor to strengthen our team.

 Main tasks and responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and drive sw development process compliance
• Driving force behind continuous improvement of development process in order to ensure quality, effectiveness and improve product performance
• Perform and document risk analysis

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in software design, engineering, computer science or information systems
• Good knowledge in software quality methodologies tools and processes
• Working experience in software development and software assurance, as well as knowledge of current SW trends and advancements
• Experienced with problem solving and/or root cause analysis
• Experience from companies that are subjected to ISO/industry standards certifications
