Do you want to be a part of managing some of Europe´s most successful mission critical IT services? Basefarm is looking for a Senior Service Manager to join our team in Oslo.

Basefarm is a European managed service provider. In 2018 Basefarm was acquired by the Orange group, to reinforce the cloud expertise of it´s enterprise division Orange Business Services. We are now on a journey to become the leading Cloud managed service provider in Europe and are looking for candidates who want to be part of that journey!

 

The role:

As Senior Service Manager you will act as a link between Basefarm and our customers in Norway. You will take ownership of one or more customer accounts and lead a team of dedicated technical engineers to deliver a service according to the agreement in place with those customers. Your main objective is to build a strong relationship with your customers, through understanding their business, and identifying opportunities for process improvement or business development.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Lead one or more customer teams within Basefarm.
  • Ensure the team can deliver a level of service according to the agreed SLA.
  • Create and maintain a Service Improvement Plan and follow up on business initiatives.
  • Work systematically to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Be the first point of escalation both internally and externally, taking ownership of any problems that may arise.
  • Coach team members and others at Basefarm, and further develop service management routines and processes.
  • Financial and P&L accountable for responsible customer(s).
  • Identify new and ad-on sales opportunities.

 

Who we are looking for:

Basefarm always goes the extra mile for our customers, so we are looking for people who are naturally service minded and able to build strong relationships both internally and externally. You should be structured in your work and able to lead from the front, so being able to inspire and motivate others is important. Lastly, you should be able to take ownership within your area of work and able to work under pressure.

In terms of experience/skills, we believe you have:

  • Relevant working experience within the IT industry, preferably as a Service Manager for large contracts.
  • Strong experience of leading teams.
  • Good technical knowledge within IT operations and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of IT service management, including SLAs / Contract Management.
  • Very good communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
